McClendon Bakery & Co. is truly a family affair. I’m Jamie, the baker behind the mixing bowls, and alongside me are my husband, Eric, and our boys, Miller and Lincoln. What began in our home kitchen grew from something simple: a love of good food, sharing it with the people we care about, and making room for others around our table.
I have always loved baking for the people I care about. There is something special about making food from scratch, sharing it with others, and seeing it become part of their table. McClendon Bakery & Co. grew from that love and from the encouragement of friends and family who kept telling me I should share what I make with more people.
Today, I bake from our home in Abilene, creating small batch breads, bagels, muffins, cookies, scones, cakes, and other homemade favorites. My hope is simple: to make really good food with care and give people one more reason to gather around the table.
